Can I add an additional language on my Pen and CD?  
Additional languages can be purchased for the PEN and CD licenses and will be chargeable.  However the number of additional languages will be restricted on the PEN by the storage capacity of the Pen drive.

If I buy the Dolphin Pen, can I give the free CD license to my friend?
No, the CD license is free to the registered user and must not be split, sold or donated to another person or organisation.

When I buy a Dolphin Pen, which Dolphin software CD license do I get free of charge?
Whatever Dolphin software you purchase on your Pen, you will receive the same software on a CD license.  E.G. If you buy a Dolphin SuperNova Pen you will receive a free SuperNova CD license.

Which synthesiser will I get?
US English & Spanish Eloquence will be included on both the Pen and the CD licenses.

Am I restricted to which Eloquence voice I can use?
Hal, SuperNova and LunarPlus allow you to choose between any of the 8 preset Eloquence voices for each language: Adult Male, Adult Female, Child, Deep Male, Elderly Female, Elderly male, Fast Female, Fast Male.  This has great advantages, as your Dolphin software enables you to set up to five separate Eloquence voices that allow you to instantly determine if the speech you hear is from the screen reader itself or is from an Edit Area, Windows Prompt, Menu, Document Read or Virtual Focus.  For example you may want a slow voice for accuracy when editing text but a fast voice for skimming through text using Document Read. 

How much would I pay for a Software Maintenance Agreement?
The SMA cost would the normal SMA cost for the Dolphin Pen plus the normal SMA cost for the CD license.  SMA costs vary between SuperNova, Hal, Lunar & LunarPlus.

What if I loose my Dolphin Pen?
If you loose your pen then you loose your license.  Users that wish to protect themselves against theft, lose or damage should consider purchasing Dolphin Pen cover.  Read the Pen Cover terms and conditions.

When future releases of my Dolphin software are available, how do I upgrade my pen and CD licenses?
There will be two separate upgrade charges applicable if you choose to upgrade both your CD & pen licenses in future.  However should you choose to upgrade both at the same time, you will receive a 20% discount off the total upgrade price.

 

I work at a college and would like a multi user license of Pens and CD licenses?
Yes a multi user license version is available.  Simply buy your first Pen license and the CD will come free.  Then purchase the correct number of Pen add-on licenses and the corresponding number of additional user licenses will be available free of charge from the original CD license.  You will not receive any additional CDs, just additional licenses from the original CD.
