How to tell one from the other!

As the gap between phones and PDAs shrinks, it can be hard to tell what a device actually is. Microsoft offer the following information which will act as a useful rule of thumb when shopping for new devices:

If your device has a stylus and you can write on the screen, it is a Pocket PC (or PDA). Otherwise, it is a smartphone. Also, on Pocket PC and PDA phones, the Windows flag logo appears on the top left of the screen. On smartphones, the Windows flag logo appears on the bottom left.
