URL Specific (Web Page) Settings
Chapter 1: Introducing web page settings
NOTE: Mozilla Firefox does not CURRENTLY support web page settings.
New in Supernova and Hal version 10 is the chance to save your Internet Explorer document settings. Your settings will then be automatically applied the next time you visit the web page or web site.
Internet Explorer document settings can improve what is detected and spoken when navigating a web page. These settings can be applied to a single web address or, with the use of wild characters, extended to a full web site.
Why are such settings required?
Not every web page designer has accessibility as a core requirement. What web page settings offer is the ability to choose what Supernova and Hal detect from the web page. This can sometimes bring improved accessibility by changing how tables or controls are identified or even how you navigate through the page with virtual focus.
