TIP: Using Lists to get information from Excel Spreadsheets

Excel Keyboard Shortcuts

For users of Microsoft Excel, there are a variety of application lists defined in Supernova/Hal that give you quick and easy access to data within your worksheet. The following lists are available:

  1. List of objects: LEFT SHIFT + DOLPHIN KEY + 1
  2. List of charts: LEFT SHIFT + DOLPHIN KEY + 3
  3. List information about the active chart: LEFT SHIFT + DOLPHIN KEY + 4
  4. List of visible cells with a formula: LEFT SHIFT + DOLPHIN KEY + 5
  5. List of visible cells with content / data: LEFT SHIFT + DOLPHIN KEY + 6
  6. List of visible cells with comments: LEFT SHIFT + DOLPHIN KEY + 7
  7. List of sheets: LEFT SHIFT + DOLPHIN KEY + 8

And don't forget the default list of links (DOLPHIN KEY + 1) that can also be used in Microsoft Excel. Please refer your existing product documentation for a comprehensive list of these.
