Computer & Literary Braille (Grades 1 & 2)

SuperNova supports two methods for displaying Braille, namely Computer Braille and Literary Braille.

Computer Braille Code

Computer Braille strictly uses one Braille cell per character, whatever that character is. It is of most use in applications where every character is of importance, such as in computer programming, and you need to distinguish each possible character. Dolphin offer more than 20 different computer Braille codes as listed below:

Literary Braille Code

Literary Braille can take advantage of letter combinations in a language and forms them into contractions, thus saving space on the Braille display. Literary Braille is generally preferred for displaying ordinary text. Dolphin offer more than 25 different literary Braille codes as listed below:
