In a positive move for people using assistive technology, and for greater visibility in the wider environment, the Google accessibility team has launched a dedicated disability support team.

The disability support team will be available exclusively through email, and currently only in the English language, with limited US based opening hours; although Google has already stated they will be looking to add other channels and langages in the future. The team is available to answer questions about using assistive technology with Google products and accessibility features and functionalities within Google products, and aims to respomd within 72 hours.

As always it's great to see gloabl organisations taking accessibility seriously and investing time and money in supporting all users, whatever their additional needs.
