Dolphin is Disability Confident at Worcester Guildhall
As an employer of people who are blind and visually impaired, it's important to Dolphin to educate and inform other employers of the benefits of broadening their horizons when it comes to recruiting.
Far from being a limitation, in many cases someone's disability could actually be an asset to a company's staff pool.
Due to the nature of our business and the products we develop, our team members who are visually impaired give us first hand experience, knowledge and insight into our marketplace; and that's invaluable not only commercially, but from a social responsibility stance too.
We'll be at Worcester Guildhall on Wednesday 6th April at an event hosted by Robin Walker MP and Headway Worcester as part of the Government's Disability Confident campaign; aimed at getting more disabled people into work. We'll be sharing our experience of employing staff with disabilities, and the positive differences they make to our company.
The event runs from 10am to 1pm.
