Guide users - message from Microsoft about Skype

We understand that Microsoft have been emailing Skype users advising them that they need to update their Skype account to the latest version by 1st March if they want to continue using the service. The concern for Guide users is that the latest versions of Skype are not compatible with Guide software.

 

We have been in touch with Microsoft to get clarification and they have confirmed that existing versions, including the ones compatible with Guide, will still be available after 1st March. So there's no need to worry, you'll still be able to communicate in the usual way.
