When starting SuperNova on a Windows 7 Pc, the above error message is displayed and SuperNova fails to magnify the screen.


This may occur if Windows Update has not been performed for a long time, and as such the required update KB2670838 is not installed on the PC. This update is essential for SuperNova to run and apply font smoothing.

The update can be downloaded from the link below, however we would recommend all Windows Updates are applied:
