After connecting an external monitor to a laptop, SuperNova displays the above message and fails to magnify the screen on a Windows 10 computer.
This may occur if you have your monitor set to clone the laptop display. For SuperNova to work effectively on Windows 10 using this monitor configuration, you need to set Windows to either extend the desktop, across both displays, or only show the display on the external monitor. To do this:
RIGHT CLICK on the Windows Desktop. A menu will appear.
From the menu, choose “Display Settings”. The “Customise your display” window will open.
Under the pull down list “Multiple displays” choose “Show on 2” (where “2” is the external monitor and “1” is the laptop screen)
Press the “Apply” button.
Restart the computer and SuperNova will star with no error and magnify the screen.
