Topic: SuperNova does not announce taskbar items or text entered into the Run dialog box on a Windows 8 touch screen device such as a tablet

When navigating controls on the Windows 8 Taskbar or when entering text into the “Run…” dialog box, there is no speech or Braille output.
This can occur if the touch screen device has been rotated and as such the screen orientation has changed from, for example, portrait to landscape.
If using a keyboard press WINDOWS KEY + O
If using the touch screen or a mouse, RIGHT CLICK on the desktop and choose "Screen Resolution" from the resulting menu. In the window that opens uncheck the checkbox named "Allow the screen to Auto Rotate" then choose OK.
