This article explains some current known issues with EasyReader and the RNIB Reading Serviecs.
We are aware of issues with the RNIB Reading Services on EasyReader. In the next versions of EasyReader we plan to include some improvements – the current known issues include:
- “Failed to download book” error message. This is something RNIB are investigating currently.
- “EasyReader wants to connect to rnib.org.uk” error message - This is something RNIB are investigating currently with Dolphin’s assistance.
- Large / Multi volume books cannot be opened – Dolphin are currently investigating this.
- A crash may occur when reading a text-only book with your devices built-in TTS. Dolphin will fix this in a forthcoming update.
In addition, if you have problems logging into RNIB Reading Services, please contact the RNIB directly who will be able to assist further.
