The article describes what hardware is required if using multiple monitors on Windows 8.

For SuperNova to be able to work with multiple monitors on windows 8, an essential requirement is that the PC has a "Dual head" (sometimes known as "Dual Display" video card - i.e. a single video card with two separate outputs. This is the case for desktop computers.

For Laptop computers, a laptop with both VGA and HDMI outputs will be needed, together with an HDMI to VGA converter cable.

This requirement does not apply to Windows 7 in which Supernova can be used with multiple monitors on computers that have two separate video cards.
