When you open Guide is the menu blank (empty) or is it missing some options such as Emails and Access a Website?


If when you turn on your Guide software and the main menu appears but has no options it is likely that a custom menu has been enabled.

In order to disable the custom menu you will need to follow these steps.

  1. Press escape from the main menu and on the close guide menu press 3, Disable Custom menu. This will bring back the standard menu system for the moment but will revert back when guide is next opened, unless disabled in the settings.
  2. Now visit this system settings option under the main menu more options, this is 9 then 8 from the main menu.
  3. In the system settings menu press number 7 to go to the custom menu settings.
  4. Now that you are in the custom menu settings if you go to option 6, this will permanently disable the custom menu.

Now when you restart your computer and Guide loads up it will load with the standard menu.
