Topic: EasyConverter appears to hang at the splash / loading screen and fails to load

NB: Please note that product names in this article may have changed since the time of writing.
When starting EasyConverter 5 or earlier, the splash screen appears but the program never fully loads.
This problem may occur if Microsoft Office 2013 or later is installed. The first version of EasyComverter to support Office 2013 was EasyConverter version 6. The first version of EasyComverter to support Office 2016 was EasyConverter version 7. Downgrading to an earlier Office version or upgrading to the latest version of EasyConverter will correct the issue.
