Learn Dolphin Publisher: Narrating and synchronising with on screen text

Dolphin Publisher is computer software which enables you to create human narrated DAISY talking books for people with visual impairments and learning disabilities. This video shows you how to use Dolphin Publisher to add human narrations, and synchronise this with on-screen text.

Narrating and synchronising with on screen text.

At the bottom of the main interface is a set of controls that will be familiar to anyone that has used a tape recorder. If a narrator connects a microphone to the PC and hits record it will switch into recording mode and the narration will begin.

In a similar way that existing audio is synchronised with text, the narrator also synchronises their own voice as they speak by clicking the 'create sync point' button as I will now demonstrate.

(Reading story off screen)

And that is how easy it is to create synchronised live recordings using Dolphin Publisher.

In the final example I will show how to output the project for distribution.
