Dolphin Friends celebrates the wonderful work sight loss organisations do for their local communities. 

Free to join, Dolphin Friends is exclusive to societies and charities that support people who are blind or partially sighted. It introduces lots of benefits to your organisation, your team and service users. 

Through Dolphin Friends, your organisation gains exclusive donations and discounts. We provide free equipment, software and resources for your computer room. Dolphin will also support and train your staff to use and demonstrate Dolphin assistive technology.

Free to Join 

With no subscription fee, it's free to become a Dolphin Friend. It is open to UK societies and charities that support people who are blind or partially sighted.

Donation Icon

10% Donation

Dolphin will donate ten percent of the value of each purchase of a Dolphin software product to your sight loss society, when it is mentioned at the point of sale.

We train your team on SuperNova and/or GuideConnect, so they are knowledgeable and confident to demonstrate these Dolphin products.

Dolphin Friends receive up to £1,500 of Dolphin assistive technology software such as free licences for SuperNova, GuideConnect and EasyConverter Express.

A Dolphin keyboard, with shortcut buttons and high-contrast, large-print keys, plus a Dolphin Remote Control to help you demonstrate GuideConnect.

 

Additional donations to your organisation 

If your society or charity is mentioned at the point of purchase by more than two service users each month, your organisation will qualify for a higher-percentage donation from Dolphin.

Eligibility for Dolphin Friends

Dolphin Friends is open to charities and sight loss societies that support people who are blind or partially sighted. 

To qualify for Dolphin Friends, your organisation should: 

  • be based in the UK
  • advise people who have recently lost their sight
  • have a computer resource room, or an IT suite
  • have staff to demonstrate assistive tech to service users

Dolphin Friends is exclusive to charities and non-profit organisations that advise people with visual impairments in the UK. This partnership isn't suitable if you are an individual, an employer, an organisation in the education sector or a retirement community.
