Synchronising digital recordings with on-screen text.

I will now demonstrate how the audio is synchronised with the on screen text by means of a very simple process.

Basically you just need to start playing the audio and hitting the key or button to sync the currently active text event with its corresponding point in the audio stream. I will now begin and you will see what I mean.

See how easy it was? As I click the 'move text to current position' button, a marker was placed in the wave form to associate that text even with that point in the audio.

And that is basically all that is needed to synchronise text and audio in Dolphin Publisher.

In the next example I will demonstrate how a narrator would create a production in Dolphin Publisher by means of recording their own voice as they read and synchronise it with the on screen text.
