Welcoming James Green as CEO of Dolphin Computer Access
Published:
We are thrilled to welcome James Green as the new Chief Executive Officer of Dolphin Computer Access. James brings a rich and varied background in educational leadership, spanning school, Local Authority and national roles.
During his time at Scanning Pens, and more recently with its parent company Empowering Tech, James played a key role on the Senior Leadership Team, helping to shape the organisation into a global success story, which was recognised with the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Now at Dolphin, James brings his enthusiasm for innovation, accessibility and a customer-first mindset, ready to make a meaningful impact.
This marks an important transition for Dolphin, as our long-serving CEO, Noel Duffy steps into retirement. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Noel for his outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication. Under his guidance, Dolphin has grown to support thousands of individuals with print impairments around the world. His legacy of compassion and commitment leaves a strong foundation for the future.
Looking ahead, James will lead Dolphin with a renewed focus on community and customer impact. While others in the industry may be leaning into price increases, we remain firmly committed to deliver greater value, smarter innovation and practical solutions that make a real difference for people who are blind, partially sighted or have dyslexia.
Our mission is simple and powerful:
To make accessibility a priority and empower individuals at home, in education and at work.
James will build on Dolphin’s core values: delighting customers, fostering inclusivity, empowering high-performing teams, and championing purposeful innovation. Together, we will continue to move forward with clear direction and ambition, driven by a bold vision: that everyone with a print impairment can benefit from Dolphin assistive technology.
I’m honoured to join Dolphin at such a pivotal moment. Our purpose is clear: to deliver technology that empowers people with vision impairments. By working closely with our customers and partners, we will lead with innovation, listen to the needs of our community and ensure Dolphin remains a trusted partner in accessibility for many years to come.
