Following over 23 successful years at Dolphin, the time is now right for me to announce that I will retire at the end of September 2023.

I’ve taken time to reflect on my years at Dolphin, which has been a resoundingly positive experience!

I believe the world is changing for the better. Terms like ‘accessibility’ and ‘inclusion’ are now well understood and practically applied. Workplaces, schools and public spaces are becoming more aware of diversity and the benefits of inclusion and they’re acting on this.

Along with the technology, there have been updates to the Dolphin Team over the years. The current combination of experienced, long-term staff and a boost of talented new starters means I retire with the company in capable, skilled hands.

I will continue in a non-executive role on the Board of Directors while Noel Duffy returns as CEO to work closely with the senior leadership team:

The future of Dolphin is bright. As thought-leaders in accessibility, we have successfully built a progressive global company that continues to make waves in the assistive technology sector.

The abundance of technical innovation and exceptional assistive technology products reflects the expertise of the people who work at Dolphin.

So, as the world wakes up to the benefits of accessibility, the work we do now will ensure more people with visual impairments can work, study and stay independent. I am proud of the things Dolphin has already achieved and excited to see it progress further.
