Hotfix to Dolphin ScreenReader 24.04 is now available

A Dolphin ScreenReader version 24.04 Hotfix release has been issued to address critical issues following recent Windows updates. 
These updates have impacted the performance of the Start Menu and Microsoft Edge for SuperNova and Dolphin ScreenReader users.

FIX: Windows 11 Start Menu

Dolphin ScreenReader now announces menu items correctly when searching and navigating the Windows 11 Start Menu, rather than announcing 'untitled' before each item.

FIX: Microsoft Edge

Performance issue that caused SuperNova and Dolphin ScreenReader to close unexpectedly when Microsoft Edge was launched has been fixed, so it now launches as expected.

Improved responsiveness for navigating the Settings Menu (ALT + F)

Updating to Dolphin ScreenReader 24.04

Existing customers with a valid Software Maintenance Agreement SMA will receive a message when they start up Dolphin ScreenReader to notify them when the 24.04 update is available.

If you do not have a current SMA, or you are running Dolphin ScreenReader 23 or before, we recommend you upgrade your licence and purchase an SMA for the best accessibility experience.

To upgrade to version 24, please contact the Dolphin office if you're in the UK. If you are based outside the UK, please contact your local Dolphin Dealer.
