SuperNova’s Connect and View allows you to connect a camera to your PC to magnify, scan and read printed documents. This allows you to read letters, handouts and printed notes, with your choice of magnification and colours schemes.

To set up Connect and View, first connect a USB camera to your computer. For the best results, we recommend using a High Definition camera with auto focus and attaching it to a stand to hold the camera firmly in place.

Next, select your camera from the Connect and View settings in SuperNova. To do this, open the visual tab in the SuperNova control panel, then select the Modes drop down, underneath the Connect and View button. Choose the Connect and View sub menu, then select the settings option.

In the settings dialog box, select the camera you have just connected to your PC, select click the ok button at bottom. Your camera is now ready to use with SuperNova. You can switch Connect and View on simply by selecting the Connect and View button in SuperNova’s visual tab.

You can also change the size and position of the viewer at any time. Select the modes drop down menu, then select the Connect and View sub menu. From here, as well as changing the size of the viewer, you can also choose whether the viewer should be displayed as full screen, split screen, or placed on a second monitor if available.
